WINSLOW'S BUNGALOWS - KEY WEST HISTORIC INNS, Key West – Your ideal downtown stay

My stay at the Kimpton bungalows, specifically in number 55, a king suite with a coach around 600+ sq feet, was wonderful overall. The room's front property location on the second level with a top balcony was fantastic. I especially enjoyed the hammock nestled in the palm trees just outside my room. However, the dining options could be improved, and the nearby construction noise was a slight drawback. Despite these minor issues, the lush foliage creating a tropical oasis in the middle of town and the convenient walking distance to all main attractions made my stay truly memorable.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The property inside was gorgeous, but the noise from staff and housekeeping was a constant disturbance. The rooms were clean and spacious. Service ranged from unwelcoming interactions at the front desk to helpful staff throughout my stay. The location was exceptional, allowing easy access to Duval Street and the Old Town area. However, the dining experience lacked variety and quality. Despite some drawbacks, my overall experience was pleasant.

When I arrived for check-in at 4 pm, the room wasn't ready, and upon entering, I found it to be very small with no place to put my suitcase other than the floor beside the bed. The noise from the parking lot and streets was quite disruptive, but the amenities were helpful. The staff were so nice and helpful, offering great recommendations and going beyond to be friendly. The location was excellent, close to Duval Street but on a quiet street, with lush surroundings and convenient access to all areas. The dining experience wasn't so great, with very basic options provided during and after breakfast. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were decent, with some areas needing improvement.

The hotel is in a prime location, just a short walk away from the bustling Duval street, yet secluded enough to offer peace and quiet. The rooms, though small, are impeccably clean and exude classic Victorian charm. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay all the more enjoyable. However, the dining options left something to be desired, with limited choices available.

The hotel was decent with some positives like nice rooms but lacking in space for luggage; the service was very accommodating with surprises, but the dining options could be improved. The location was central yet quiet. Good value overall.
